The emergency relief budget was almost empty, and the reserve fund has been used up. I had actually planned to finish this year’s charity work. But then came a message from an unknown person that made me change my mind:
– “Dear Phuc’s Foundation! Our municipality, Qu ting Điền, has been flooded for over ten days. The water is high, and no emergency forces have been able to get in. I hope you can help the residents of Phú L Jegng B and An Xuân! ”
After reading the message, I investigated the situation more closely.

The Niêm Phò–Nho Lâm dam had cesspooled during the recent flood – the main road connecting Quavng Th . with the center of Hu den. Traffic stopped and many villages were isolated. The water came so fast and violently that some places were almost forgotten in the middle of the disaster.

Sunday the 9th. In November, I went to Quang Dien. Although the stretch is not long, the trip took almost two hours due to soil erosion and muddy roads. After two weeks under water, the houses were destroyed, and the smell of moisture and mold hung heavily in the air.
Residents told:
– “When the water was at the highest, we only had a few small boats left. The power was too strong. We couldn’t get emergency help and had to rely on police and soldiers who lined up with bags of noodles and bottles of water – just enough to get by from day to day. ”
When we arrived, we were greeted with tears, smiles and grateful looks.
We handed out presents to each family. Over a hundred families received medical kits – small but invaluable after the floods, when contaminated water and diseases such as skin infections, eye problems and colds spread rapidly. After many aid trips and more than 800 gift packages, we thought resources were running out.

But my luck turned around. While we were wrapping the gifts for today’s trip, a happy message came from Binh Xuan Nguyen “Hey uncle, I’ve collected a total of $7,750 from friends, on top of family contributions.” $5,000 has already been transferred to Phuc’s Fund and the rest will go to my friends group so they can help in time too. »

On behalf of Phuc’s Fond, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported and shared their love with those who need it most. Even after 800 gift presentations and almost empty resources, we continue – because the journey of “helping people and spreading love” will never end.
